The camps we have here right now do not limit themselves to just on campus activities. Mercersburg Adventure Camp, Young Writers Camp, and the ESL Program venture out to state parks, cities, and just places to relax.
Young Writers Camp went to Cluggy’s amusement park before going to a local pool. Before that, they made a short trip to the Abandoned PA Turnpike.
The writers still have planned several more trips. Those include tubing, attending a play, and a dinner theater. And they still have much more planned.
The ESL Program attendees have been working hard in the classroom this week. They have been taking it easy to this point but will be going on their first big trip of the summer Friday.
Washington D.C. will be their destination, where they will visit monuments and museums before going to a baseball game. This is the first of many trips for the international students.
New York and Philadelphia are two other cities they will visit.
The Mercersburg Adventure Campers finished their split senior and junior day Thursday. The seniors traveled to Ohiopyle, where they rafted down a river.
The juniors went caving before taking on a much calmer creek in tubes. The camp comes back together as they head to a soccer game this session.
And of course, Hershey Park is not too far in the distance for the MAC campers.
The campers are kept busy, but it is busy fun. As we track along with the camps, follow along with our social media pages. And head over to Vidigami to see all the pictures from the adventures had and to be had.
