Our Staff

The office of Summer Programs is a full-time department of Mercersburg Academy. The office handles all summer programs, both internal and external, and building rentals during the school year and summer months. Below is our full-time staff who are available Monday – Friday, 8:00 a.m. – 4:30 p.m.

  • Coleman Weibley

    Director of Summer Programs
    A native of Carlisle, Pennsylvania, Coleman Weibley has several years of camp experience at both Mercersburg Academy and the University of Tennessee. His responsibilities at Mercersburg include overseeing marketing efforts of all summer programs, hiring of summer staff and directing the adventure camp series. During the academic year, Coleman oversees the academy's domestic and international break travel programs. He also serves as an assistant swimming coach.

    Coleman comes to Mercersburg from Florida State University, where he was the Director of Swimming and Diving Operations and Head Coach of FSU’s club swimming program, Club Seminole. Previous to working at Florida State, he held a similar position at The University of Tennessee (his alma mater), where he served as the camp director for the teams’ summer camps. Coleman holds a bachelor’s of science in education with a focus on recreation and sports management from Tennessee. Coleman has two dogs, a pitbull rescue named Lucy, and an English Bulldog named Chloe.
  • Dana Taylor McCullough

    Administrative Assistant
    Dana's duties in the SEP office include serving as the primary point of contact for the office and its communications.  Other duties in the SEP Office include assisting the Director with reconciliation of the general ledger, recording and processing accounts payable and receivable for assigned programs.  She is also responsible for inquiries and enrollments for all Break Travel Programs, English as a Second Language (ESL +), Mercersburg Summer Theater Workshop and Summer Dance Workshop. 

    Dana started at Mercersburg Academy in 2007 in the Housekeeping Department.  After spending some time there, her desire to learn new things found her transferring to Building and Grounds.  And from there, on to the Office of Summer and Extended Programs in 2014.  She enjoys spending time with her family and has taken on a new hobby running with a friend.
