MAC Daily Recap

Maggie Strawoet, Social Media Coordinator
MAC campers awoke to cooler weather from the previous triple-digit days. Still, the campers enjoyed Great Outdoor activities, after a delicious breakfast. The campers were more comfortable in the cooler weather and the impending storms held off until their return. The campers then transitioned to lunch awaiting their next JWAS.

The afternoon was filled with small activities enticing the campers at every step. Kicking off the afternoon was Hurricanes vs. Tornadoes endzone. The Hurricanes took the win 2-0, but the Tornadoes are looking to win peace wars and the cheer/song competitions. Following the H/T event, the campers had an open gym, where they could participate in basketball, soccer, or knockout.

The campers took the remaining afternoon to prepare cabin skits and prepare talents for the show later. The cabin skits knocked the socks off the judges, and the talent show wowed everyone. MAC moved to a cookout of the Simon Student Center patio where hotdog and hamburgers filled their bellies. MAC continued their fun in the Simon Student Center with a game night and movie night. The night feature was Moana.
