Our enrichment programs inspire people to develop to the full extent of their capabilities, and to excel intellectually and creatively. Each program also features recreational activities to supplement the respective curriculum.
Mercersburg Summer STEAM Camp takes students to the front lines of the Maker revolution as they learn by doing. Engineering, programming, 3D printing, textiles, and metal fabrication are all featured in this 5-day immersion into the essentials of Making in the 21st century.

Tuition covers everything—all activity choices, events, trips, meals, camp shirt, backpack, and a water bottle. There are no extra charges; campers do not need snacks, care packages, or even personal spending money.
We also believe that communication is one of the keys to success. That communication includes 24-hour phone access to the camp staff, and includes a call from your camper’s counselor after camp gets started. Check out our blog or photos that we update regularly during sessions so that parents get a “virtual” look at what we are doing and where we are going!
CAMPUS AND FACILITIES
Our Campus features over 300 acres of expansive athletic fields, wildlife habitat areas, farmland and state-of-the-art academic facilities.
Our renovated academics buildings contain modern lab spaces, art studios, computer facilities, study areas, and faculty offices. The entire campus is connected via a wireless network, bringing a whole world of information directly to students in the classroom, the library, the dormitories, and even the dining hall. Whether you like chemistry or computer programming, our facilities can fulfill your needs.
Displaying an affection for the arts, Mercersburg opened the Burgin Center for the Arts in September 2006. The building houses state-of-the-art spaces for music, dance, theatre, and visual arts. A two-story atrium, a studio theatre, a chorale room, and a recital hall are just a few features of the facility.
The Nolde Athletic Center and Hale Field House include 7 full-size basketball courts, 4 tennis courts, a 9 lane 25-yard pool, state of the art fitness center, Davenport Squash Courts, and Kuhn Wrestling room.
Choosing an overnight program brings excitement and concerns, particularly if the choice involves a first-time experience or a new location. Overnight experiences offer young people multiple opportunities to develop their identity both individually and socially, to gain personal responsibility, and to increase their self-esteem through independent thoughts and actions.
