A quick update on camp! Todays sunshine provided the perfect weather for our MACsters to head for the Great Outdoors. This time they got to spend a whole day with their activities- rock climbing, canoeing, horseback riding, wilderness skills and others. One of our camera crew was able to tag along with the geocaching group as they searched for buried treasures with handheld GPS units. The JACsters also had an event filled day with many activities including a slip n’ slide and obstacle course!

Nothing wrapped up an awesome day at Mercersburg Adventure Camp like a chocolately, gooey s’more at the campfire. 1 to 5 of them always hit the spot. I think I smell one now! Check out this step by step guide here to the perfect s’more. This way you can practice and by the time you come to camp, you’ll be an expert!

Our camp fires are the most fun evening activity! We sing songs, do skits and tell stories. This week we were lucky enough to have Ryan Smith from Chase + Smith Photographers join us. Here are some of his photos. They came out beautifully!
