Storm Wrestling Camps

Storm Wrestling Camps are development and competition programs that center on a systematic approach to wrestling.  Wrestlers develop proven attacks on their feet, while learning to turn good counters into great offense.  Mat wrestling consists of work on interrelated series and combinations, as well as controlling an opponent and using high percentage pinning techniques.

The daily schedule features technique/training sessions, a drill/live session and optional run/lifting sessions.  Each day also brings Preparation Edge sessions that focus on off mat strength training for athletic development, transitioning to the next level of competition, college recruiting, performance nutrition and more.  In the team camp, all teams participate in dual meets regularly as well as an individual tournament at the end of camp.

Storm Wrestling Team Camp(Grades 5-9)

The Storm Wrestling Camp is designed in a team format.  Eight youth teams from across the region and beyond come together for an intense week of training, dual meets, guest clinicians from top college/university programs, and an individual meet at the conclusion of the week.  Teams must have a minimum of 8 wrestlers to enroll at the team discount.  Individual wrestlers are encouraged to enroll and will be placed on a team with other individual registrants.  Every team is guaranteed multiple dual meets, team building activities, participation in the individual camp tournament and technique sessions with first class instructors.
