Everything is coming to a close here for session two. I can’t believe it! It’s all going so fast.
These past few days have been incredible. The TAC went to Hershey Park two days ago…
Yesterday, the last full day of camp, was jam packed!
MACs and TACs had a Slip-n-Slide… of course! It’s tradition…. and my favorite day of camp!
It’s hard to believe two sessions of camp have already come and gone…good thing we still have one more left!
I’m not ready to leave yet

It’s that time again!!
MAC and TAC both had their trips to Cowan’s Gap this week.
Today Cowan’s was definitely the place to be! I ran into Maggie with her MAC wilderness skills group, Johnny and his MAC kayakers and all the TACs swimming at the lake.

As usual, there is never a dull moment here at Mercersburg Summer! There has been so much going on with the camps I can barely keep up!!
The Junior Wrestling camp just finished this past week… just in time for a brand new session of swimming to start up!

At Mercersburg Summer Camp, we divide the camp between Hurricanes and Tornadoes, red vs. blue. During the school year at the Academy, we do a similar split between Irving and Marshall for a week long series of sports and academic tests. Irving/Marshall week is one of Mercersburg Academy’s oldest traditions, and one of the most known secret on campus.

In addition to MAC and TAC, Mercersburg’s Swimming and Wrestling camps have been going strong this week!!
I got to spend the entire day with the wrestlers the other day…. and Boy Oh Boy, do those boys work hard! In the morning they got a little taste of adventure on the rock climbing wall with Cat. Then they headed over to practice later in the afternoon. I was getting tired just taking pictures of everything! Hahaha, but I seemed to be the only one… the boys were having a blast!!
