Sunday marked the first day of the 2010 camp season and a whole slew of fresh campers. For those who had been here before, it was reunion time. For those that had just gotten to campus for the first time, it was a chance to see your new home for the next two weeks. Yippee! Many of the campers returning knew the counselors, so it was a wonderful opportunity to catch up on the past year.
For the first time this season, the coveted Mercersburg counselor shirts made an appearance, as did the old alumni Adventure Camper shirts… It was great to see them in action and moving about during camp songs and activities.
The staff were there to support all day, making sure that the new campers were comfy and happy after their families departed. Click here for more photos from the whole day, yesterday!
