A rivalry is born
Yesterday was the first full day of camp and everyone knows what that means, the line is drawn between the Hurricanes and Tornadoes. All adventure campers are taken into the Simon Theatre and given either a blue bandana(hurricanes) or red bandana(tornadoes) that signifies their allegiance. From that point on there is a clear divide in the camp community. Chants in the dining hall, songs at the campfire, sports competitions, all have high stakes from that point on! Just another part of what makes adventure camp special.
