In addition to MAC and TAC, Mercersburg’s Swimming and Wrestling camps have been going strong this week!!
I got to spend the entire day with the wrestlers the other day…. and Boy Oh Boy, do those boys work hard! In the morning they got a little taste of adventure on the rock climbing wall with Cat. Then they headed over to practice later in the afternoon. I was getting tired just taking pictures of everything! Hahaha, but I seemed to be the only one… the boys were having a blast!!

During Enrichments on Monday, we had a great time getting to know the kids through pictures. We gave out 10 Flip video cameras to one of the groups and told them to run wild with video footage. We will time release post these videos throughout the year so kids can remember their experience! There was also an Iron Chef competition in the kitchen, clay works in the sculpture studio and a fun physics exercise in Lower Ford.

On campus today is Ryan Smith, with Camp Cam and Camp Cammy Jr. It is a rockin’ day. The light is gorgeous, and the kids are having fun!

All last week leading up to Friday, the Mercersburg Summer Counselors were trained in a variety of safety and skills to accomodate for the incoming campers. We were able to go outside on a bike ride, into the barn for climbing and out into the water for white water kayak training. By Friday, our Counselors were exhausted, but well trained and ready for the Campers!
